The CPVO has launched a new online search tool, merging the information formely available in the so-called S2 publication and S3 webpage.
The new search tool enables users to consult all relevant information concerning the closing dates for applications and the submission requirements for plant material per species and according to the examination offices which are entrusted to carry out the DUS technical examination on behalf of the CPVO.
For species without an entrusted examination office in the EU, the database contains information about cooperating authorities in third countries.
In order to ease the access to species’ data and make it more user-friendly, a new visual layout and customised IT functionalities have been made available. For instance, it is now possible for users to perform research on multiple species simultaneously and to export all relevant data into a table. Another significant improvement is that the new S2/S3 database is being updated daily.
