Due to the current coronavirus situation, this year’s Christmas Market on Kossuth square is cancelled – announced László Papp, mayor of Debrecen on his Facebook page.
Debrecen’s mayor – who is currently in quarantine because of his positive Covid-19 test – announced on Wednesday (11th November) that this year’s Christmas Market on Kossuth square is cancelled due to the pandemic situation.
However, Christmas lights and decorations will be installed in the city centre as always.
