The man was stopped by police before he could cause an accident on the M35.
The patrols of the Hajdúböszörmény Motorway Subdivision of the Traffic Police Department of the Hajdú-Bihar County Police Headquarters on January 16, 2021, after 4 o’clock, noticed that a car was traveling on the M35 motorway in an irregular, unsteady way.
Officers immediately stopped the vehicle, which was driven by a 44-year-old man. During the inspection, the patrols found that the driver did not have a driver’s license, could not prove the ownership of the car, and did not use his seat belt. The driver of the vehicle admitted that he had consumed a drink before starting to drive, but could not give an answer as to why he had violated the rules of the curfew.
Police arrested the man for further sampling and prosecuted him for committing an offense of driving while intoxicated while instituting infringement proceedings for other violations.
