In the second half of the night, another precipitation zone will arrive, which may cause rain in the central areas of the country (most likely in the Danube Bend, capital area) – according to the forecast of the National Meteorological Service.
During the day on Tuesday, we will have more snow in the north and northeast. In the North Central Mountains, up to 5 cm, in the vicinity of the north-eastern border (and in the mountains) in some places up to 5-10 (locally, a layer of snow thicker than 10 centimeters can be formed).
In the afternoon, thunderstorms are expected in Southern Transdanubia. A first-instance warning was issued to Somogy County due to the risk of thunderstorms, rain and snow to the northern counties.
From tomorrow evening, the conditions will be favorable for rain again: a few tenths of a millimeter of rain can be expected on a temporary basis, mainly in the capital and the Northern Central Mountains, and then the precipitation zone will leave the country to the northeast.
