Twenty-one patients, generally elderly with co-morbidities, died over the weekend, while 255 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday.
So far 5,342,379 people have received a first jab, while 4,208,619 have been fully vaccinated. The number of active infections has declined to 46,532, while hospitals are treating 406 Covid patients, 47 of whom need respiratory assistance. There are 5,567 people in official quarantine, while 5,991,170 tests have been officially carried out. Since the first outbreak, 807,045 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 29,925. Fully 730,588 people have made a recovery.
