An investigating judge of the Debrecen District Court ordered the arrest of a man from Szombathely who had been prosecuted for abuse of a new psychoactive substance, a spokesman for the Debrecen General Court informed MTI.

Dénes Dobó said that in the suspect’s apartment in Debrecen, the investigators found several kilos of dried plant derivatives and one and a half kilograms of multi-colored, mainly powdered drug suspected substances. Investigators seized several cell phones, tablets, kitchen scales, and other equipment needed to produce drugs or a new psychoactive substance.
The man was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for three years on probation and ordered his probation supervision, in a judgment of the Szombathely District Court, which became final in February of this year.
