Semmelweis University will introduce a ban on visiting in five of their clinics from Thursday (21st October) to avoid the spread of coronavirus epidemic and seasonal infections, the institution informed MTI on Thursday.
It is forbidden to visit patients at the cardiovascular, pulmonology, internal medicine and hematology, internal medicine and oncology, and anesthesiology and intensive care clinics of the university in Városmajor, the university reported.
In the case of patients who are in a serious or critical condition and have been in the institution for a long time, the head of the clinic may grant a permission to visit, occasionally to a relative, in appropriate protective equipment.
