The master’s degree in chemical engineering is available in a dual form of training through the strategic cooperation between the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Debrecen and MOL Petrolkémia Zrt. applicants are invited until November 22nd.
The dual training started at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Debrecen in September 2016, when the dual training was available only at the BSc courses in Chemical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Today, students in nine majors can participate in dual training and choose from more than 30 corporate partners.
Our strategic partner in our master’s program in chemical engineering is MOL Petrolkémia Zrt., which, in addition to supporting our training with dissertation and diploma thesis topics, internships, the staff of the Outsourced Department of Petrochemical and Polymer Technology also participate in the education, as well as in the dual training of the MSc in Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Science and Technology.

The Deputy Scientific and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology added that the dual training with MOL Petrochemicals provides an excellent professional background for the specialization in the petrochemical and plastics industries of chemical engineering.
The aim of the dual training is that, in addition to the theoretical knowledge provided by the university, students will gain significant practical experience during their training at MOL Petrochemicals as a partner organization, so that they can enter the world of work as a competitive employee after graduation.
As part of MOL Petrochemical’s dual training program, young people will have the opportunity to join the company as dual students from February 2021. Through professional-specific training, students can learn from everyday examples and gain fresh professional competencies through factory and laboratory work.
Dual students are involved in solving specific practical tasks, and by developing project-like work, they can develop the skills needed to work independently and learn about the company’s work culture, as well as being paid for the entire duration of the training.
