A man driving a car waded through a man on Bridge Street in the Fülöp on Friday night.
Police said the man suffered such serious injuries that he was died at the scene.
Police have started an inspection of the accident, traffic is being diverted to the surrounding streets, and a lane closure is expected on the road section affected by the accident by the end of the inspection.
