The European Football Championship and the Summer Olympics top the list of Google search engines in Hungary this year, in which browsing related to the coronavirus epidemic was also dominant.
For the twenty-first time, Google has published lists of search trends for the year. In addition to Hungarian and global listings, this year’s results from many countries around the world can also be viewed on Year in Search, and a video will be published this year based on global trends, Google’s press office told MTI on Wednesday.
Behind the two sporting events at the top of the absolute list in Hungary this year, the European Football Championship and the Summer Olympics, there are several browsers related to the coronavirus epidemic: the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is the 3rd, the number of vaccinated is the 4th, the vaccine registration is ranked 5th and Pfizer-BioNTech is ranked 10th.
The list of series is led by Win Your Life (Squid Game), followed by the Godmother and The Bridgerton family. In the movies, Venom 2 has won over Elk * rtuk and Eternals, and I’ll be a star on TV in TV! was the most popular, ahead of Exatlon Hungary and the X-Factor.
In the line of recipes, the donuts one was searched the most, the quince cheese and the method of making elder syrup were available on the imaginary podium. Among the diets, keto was the most frequently searched, not far behind the diet and the apple cider vinegar diet.
Among the athletes, Christian Eriksen, Áron Szilágyi, the swordsman who won his third Olympic championship, and Ádám Szalai, the center of the Hungarian national football team, were the focus of Google searches this year due to the stagnation of football at the European Championships.
Year in Search listings is based on anonymous, statistically aggregated data from Google Trends, from which duplication and spam have been filtered out.
