This year, the University and National Library of Debrecen has expanded the donation of a traditional Christmas book surprise to a “two in one” campaign. The University and National Library of Debrecen also joined the festive charity this year by collecting sweets.

The university library has now re-organized the gift of the book, but this time, in addition to emphasizing the importance of reading, the library is responding to the Bihar State Caregivers Association’s Chocolate Collection Action, “Bring a Chocolate, Bring a Book!” also joined the initiative. You can now find a host of almost 300 books, mostly of an entertaining literary nature, that were originally donated to the University of Debrecen University and National Library.
In addition to the chocolate collection box at the entrance to the library in the main building of the university, anyone can choose from the volumes, which were selected primarily by the University of Debrecen University and National Library staff from publications in Hungarian. The gift is also a surprise, as it is impossible to know what the package hides.
