Altogether 436 patients died of a Covid-related illness during the past four days, while 7,989 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday.
The number of active infections stands at 118,633, while hospitals are treating 4,063 Covid-19 patients, 409 of whom need respiratory assistance. Since the first outbreak, 1,245,319 infections have been registered, while the number of fatalities has risen to 38,743. Fully 1,087,943 people have made a recovery. The portal said full details on vaccination numbers over the weekend will be released on Tuesday.
