Altogether 94% of Hungary’s public school teachers are vaccinated against the coronavirus, with 1% having refused to get inoculated so far, the human resources ministry said on Monday.
Fully 3% of the country’s 78,000 public school teachers have a doctor’s recommendation against getting the jab, the ministry told MTI. One percent of teachers have been granted an exemption by the minister, while another 1% are on sick leave or have submitted a request for exemption, the statement said. The remaining 1% of teachers who have not been vaccinated can return to work after getting the jab, the ministry said.
