Retail sales in Hungary rose by an annual 4.5% in January, slowing from 6.7% in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.
Adjusted for calendar-year effects, retail sales rose by 4.1%. Adjusted food sales edged up 0.1% and non-food sales rose by 6.4%. Vehicle fuel sales climbed 10.7%.
