You can now help those in need in Ukraine! Volunteers are urgently needed at the Red Cross service at the Biharkeresztes Railway Station to help refugees in Ukraine. The task: spiritual (psychosocial) assistance, distribution of food, donations, hot drinks.
The Hungarian Red Cross Hajdú-Bihar County and Beretyóújfalu Regional Organization are waiting for the application of volunteers to help the refugees in Ukraine. The task is to provide spiritual (psychosocial) assistance and care (food distribution, donation distribution, hot drinks) to refugee families, children, and individuals at the Biharkeresztes Railway Station. Red Cross staff and volunteers take turns in 12-hour shifts.
Applicants are welcome to call 70/330 1484 or send an e-mail to berettyoujfalu@voroskereszt.hu. Those who live in the county center or in other parts of the county can also apply at hajdubiharmegye@voroskereszt.hu and at 52 / 531-427. The organizers ask applicants to write down if they have the time, their strengths, what they know and love, what language skills they have.
