The Department of Psychiatry of the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen and the Cultural and Organizational Office of the Secretariat of Public Education present an exhibition of the works of the PsychArt24 painting marathon.

Program: Opening ceremony of an exhibition of the works of the PsychArt24 painting marathon.
The display is going to be opened by Dr. Lajos Simon (SOTE), psychiatrist, psychotherapist, chairman of the board of trustees of the Moracsik Foundation. He is going to be accompanied by Dr. Dóra Sorosi and Dr. Balázs Jeges.
The exhibition can be visited until 29th April, 2022.
Every year since 2010, the Moravcsik Foundation and the Budapest Art Brut Gallery have been organizing a special painting marathon called PsychArt24 in the auditorium of the Semmelweis University Theoretical Medicine Center.
The event will also be held in Szeged and since 2019 the Psychiatric Clinic of the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen has been performing the honorable and challenging task as a cooperating partner.
By organizing this event, their primary goal is to try to reduce the social stigma and exclusion of psychiatric patients and to show a creative image that allows people with the disease to turn to their healthy peers with greater confidence and openness.
At this exhibition, those interested can get a taste of the works in Szeged, in Debrecen and in Budapest. A special feature of this year’s exhibition is that not only the walls of the Life Sciences Gallery, but also the screens of the Theoretical Gallery will be filled with works from the traveling exhibition for 3 weeks.
