In addition to the new market building, the water tower and the market space cover will be renewed, which will include 2,500 m2 in addition to the renovation area, the municipality has announced.
In addition to the construction of a new basement, there will also be parking spaces, shops and a rest area. A new surveillance camera system will be installed in the area. The renewal is planned to take place from nearly HUF 500 million.
The city’s 2022 goals also include the infrastructural development of administrative and educational institutions, the development of the transport system and its conditions, municipal rehabilitation, environmental protection, and developments for health and sports.
In order to achieve all these goals, the further development of sidewalks, inland drainage systems, municipal roads, green areas, community spaces, the maintenance of vineyards, and the development of energy groups will create 3 kindergartens in Kazinczy Street.
