The Debrecen Zoo, the country’s first rural zoo and the only classic amusement park in the Great Forest, will celebrate the end of the amusement park season with a three-day program between October 29 and 31, the organizers announced at a press conference on the spot on Monday.
Sándor Gergely Nagy, director of the institution, said that as a novelty, “creepy” zoo programs will add color to the long weekend, which ends with the Halloween party on October 31.
During the three days, a “spooky” environment awaits those interested in the Great Forest: the ghost railway will invite you on a chilling journey, but the castle of terror and the zombie labyrinth will also test the courage of the visitors – it was announced at the briefing.
There will be an escape room and all-day attractions offered by the Animals in Action program, while on Halloween night, giants, dancing witches, fire jugglers, and fair puppets are waiting for those interested, they said.
In addition to the Halloween programs, more than twenty game elements of the amusement park await the visitors, the organizers announced.
Last year, 1,500 people visited the Halloween party, this year around 2,000 are expected – Sándor Gergely Nagy told MTI.
