László Kövér, the President of the Hungarian Parliament, expressed his condolences to Kim Jin-Phyo, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, due to the mass accident in Seoul on Saturday – during a Halloween event.
“I was deeply shocked to learn that an accident during a festive event claimed more than 150 lives and injured dozens of people in Seoul last night,” the letter sent to MTI states. “On behalf of the Hungarian Parliament, I confirm that Hungary stands by the Republic of Korea in these tragic moments,” said László Kövér, who expressed his sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
István Jakab, the vice-president of the National Assembly, also expressed his condolences to Kim Jung-jo, the vice-president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.
