Due to the risk of strong wind, the National Meteorological Service has issued a second-level warning for the counties of Fejér, Somogy, Tolna, Veszprém and Zala for Saturday.
They wrote that late afternoon and evening on Friday, the wind turning to the northwest may be accompanied by stormy gusts of 60-80 kilometers per hour, mainly in Northern Transdanubia, in the region of the capital and possibly in the central part of the country. A gust of around 90 kilometers per hour or more is not excluded near the northwestern border region or in the higher parts of the Transdanubian Central Mountains, Börzsöny. In the late evening hours, the air movement loses a little of its power.
The meteorological service has issued a second-degree (orange) warning for the counties of Fejér, Somogy, Tolna, Veszprém and Zala, where the expected strongest gusts may exceed 90 kilometers per hour. Due to the danger of wind gusts exceeding 70 kilometers per hour, a first degree (yellow) warning has been issued for Baranya, Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Csongrád-Csanád, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Komárom -Esztergom, Pest, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Vas counties.
