The ‘Easter Blue Bucket’ durable food collection starts today at the Dorkász Service

Local News

Economic difficulties put a heavy burden on all of us financially in everyday life, but imagine how difficult it can be for those who have had problems securing their daily income in the past. The Dorkász Service is present in several settlements around Debrecen, where it is not uncommon for a family or an elderly person to face this.

Therefore, there is a greater need for local cooperation than ever before, so that those who live among us have less trouble in their everyday lives!

For example, Aunt Irénke’s house burned down in 2013 due to a short circuit. Since then, Paco has been living in a crumbling house on HUF 27,000 a month. For him, a package of non-perishable food is also a huge help. But he is not the only one whose situation is hopeless.

Dorkász Szolgálat Kék Bucket tries to alleviate these difficult fates with permanent food collection. Between March 24 and April 7, it will launch a special campaign in which anyone can join online at any time!

Filling a bucket costs 6,250.- and can be done with a few clicks on the website of Blue Bucket. From the donations received on the Blue Bucket webshop, the foundation will buy durable food, which will be delivered to Pac, Haláp, Bodaszőlő, Dombostany, Kokad and Bagamér on Easter. The goal is to fill 500 buckets, which will support 250 families and 100 elderly people. Every little help counts!
