On April 7, Good Friday, April 9, Easter Sunday, and April 10, Easter Monday, only pharmacies open 0-24 hours, which are also open on public holidays, as well as on-call and standby pharmacies will provide medicine – announced the National Pharmacy and Food Health Institute (OGÉI) on Wednesday with MTI.
They wrote that on Holy Saturday, April 8, the pharmacies that are open on holidays will not be open according to their usual Saturday/holiday work schedule, but will usually be open until 12:00, and after closing, on-call or standby service is available.
They said that the name, address, and phone number, as well as the start and end time of the on-call service, must be indicated in a clearly visible place and in a clearly legible manner at the patient entrance of the pharmacies. In addition, the address and telephone number of the nearest adult and pediatric emergency room must be indicated.

The authority drew the public’s attention to the fact that, due to the congestion during the holidays, it is of the utmost importance that everyone buys regularly used medicines and preparations that alleviate unexpected health situations in time.
