In 2023, the National Fire Prevention Committee will announce its creative competition for kindergarten and schoolchildren for the tenth time. This year, the National Fire Prevention Committee is expecting works through which schoolchildren show how a smoke detector can save lives. Students can apply in three age groups, submit a freehand drawing, other handiwork, or even shoot a film.
Entries can be submitted by post or e-mail until April 21, 2023, in person after prior consultation, indicating the age group and category. The Hajdú-Bihar County Disaster Management Directorate is waiting for the entries.
Works that won first place in the regional competition will also participate in the national competition, whose prizes will be awarded in June 2023 in Budapest. The winners of the national competition will receive valuable prizes and will also receive special prizes. The school from which the most applications are submitted nationally will be awarded the title of “Most Creative School 2023”, along with a firefighting demonstration, i.e. a smoke tent, tray firefighting, oil firefighting, wreck cutting, and fire protection education in the given institution will make the unusual education exciting.
