The national average concentration of the genetic material of the coronavirus in wastewater is increasing, the National Center for Public Health (NNK) announced on its website.
They said that the trend is rising in the supply area of the Budapest Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the agglomeration settlements around Budapest, as well as in Győr, Kaposvár, Pécs, Salgótarján, Székesfehérvár, Tatabánya and Veszprém. A decrease can be shown only in Debrecen – they added.
It was announced that the concentration of the genetic material of the coronavirus in two cities – Kecskemét and Szekszárd – can be classified as “moderate”, and in the other 20 sampling locations as “elevated”.
