Most of the time, travel destinations and travel-related experiences are at the top of Hungarians’ bucket lists, but money, family and health also occupy a prominent place among the most desired goals, according to a representative survey conducted by the NRC market researcher on behalf of apartman.hu.
According to research sent to MTI, 4 out of 10 Hungarians make a boot list. Making a list of goals, dreams, and desires to be achieved in the rest of your life is more common among women, those with higher education, and urban residents.
According to the research, nearly half of those with a bucket list also plan to achieve or live through at least one of the listed goals and desires in 2023.
Within the trip, a beach is most often at the top of Hungarians’ bucket list, while this is followed by an American trip and Egypt. Many people also indicated exotic destinations such as Bali and Bora Bora, but there were respondents who defined reaching the moon as the most important goal. Every 100th of Hungarians with a bucket list listed a trip around the world as their first goal, but seeing the northern lights is also one of the most attractive experiences for many.
In terms of material things, the most common desire is to acquire one’s own house or apartment. This is followed by the purchase of a new car, the conclusion of the loan repayment, but there are also a good number of people who drive to win the lottery 5.
Among other goals, marriage and having children is one of the most desired dreams on the bucket list of Hungarians.
