Dry, warm weather is expected on Friday, but rain, showers, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in many places over the weekend. The temperature will drop significantly in regions with more permanent precipitation, but in the east and southeast the summer-like maximum temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius will still remain – according to the national medium-term forecast of the National Meteorological Service.
On Friday morning, the weather may still be cloudy or foggy in the northeast, and there may still be rain and showers. Veil clouds increase from the west, which sometimes filters the sun. Precipitation is unlikely in most parts of the country, however, from late afternoon and evening, the cloud cover will thicken from the west, and there may be showers and thunderstorms in Western and Northwestern Transdanubia. The southerly and southwesterly winds will be brisk in a large area, and strong in Northern Transdanubia. The highest daytime temperature is expected to be between 26 and 32 degrees.
On Saturday, the sky will be mostly cloudy or overcast, there may be a few hours of sunshine, especially in Tiszántúl. Rain, showers, thunderstorms are expected in many places, and significant amounts of precipitation may also fall in some places. The southerly, then northwesterly and northerly winds can be accompanied by strong, stormy gusts in many places. 13-20 degrees in the morning and 16-31 degrees in the afternoon are likely, lower values can be measured in the more permanently rainy western regions, and higher values in the southeast.
On Sunday, the sky will be moderately or heavily cloudy and rain, showers, thunderstorms are expected in many places, and significant amounts may fall in some places. The north, northeast wind is accompanied by strong, sometimes stormy gusts in many places. The lowest night temperature is likely to be between 11 and 18 degrees, the highest daytime temperature between 16 and 28 degrees, it will be cooler in regions with more permanent precipitation, and warmer in the east and southeast.
