On September 27th, 2023 (Wednesday), from 8:30 a.m. after the morning rush hour, the contractor will spread a leveling layer of asphalt on the side of Tócóskert, in the outer straight lane next to the Segner square bus stop, the Debrecen municipality announced.
During the work, which is expected to last until 11:00 a.m., straight and left-hand traffic will be ensured continuously in the inner lanes. Afterwards, the outer straight lane will be returned to traffic and the leveling asphalt layer will be laid in the inner straight and left-turning lanes between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. During the construction period, driving straight will be ensured in one traffic lane, turning left onto Hatvan street will be prohibited.
Motorists are asked to avoid this road section from the direction of Mester street – Nagy Imre street and Széchenyi street – Tisza István street in order to reduce congestion if they wish to drive towards Hatvan street.
