Harvest will be the main theme of the so-called Egyháztáji market in Debrecen on Saturday. Customers are not only welcomed with products from local craftsmen and artisans, but grape pressing, children’s games, a bouncy castle and a special folk dance event, too.
Egyháztáji market is a local craftsmen’s market with the widest range of products in the city. It opens its doors on the third Saturday of every month at 8 a.m. in the courtyard of the Nagytemplom Gyülekezeti Központ (Leány street 2-4).
Local craftsmen and other manufacturers from Debrecen and its surroundings offer their products at the market: cheeses, fresh baked products, dry pasta, smoked meats, jams, syrups, coffee, chili, honey, cider vinegar, handcrafted jewelry, household items and toys, and much, much more.
This Saturday, October 21st, the following programs await the visitors to the fair:
8:00: Door opening
9:00 a.m.: Pressing grapes, making “must” until closing time
10:00: Debrecen Folk Ensemble presentation
11:00: Presentation of Superstar Cheer and Dance Association
Hot, lavender and honey tea, a bouncy castle, trampoline and folk games await young and old at the event.
