A 21-year-old man caused an accident in Debrecen, then hastily hid a plastic bag in a nearby bush. The police arrested him, and then the detectives interrogated him as a suspect.
A traffic accident occurred in Debrecen on October 18, 2023, at around 4 p.m. A 21-year-old man was driving his car on the Heroes’ Road. Arriving at the intersection of Böszörményi út, he ignored the traffic light’s prohibition sign and collided with a car. No one was injured, but several witnesses noticed that the young man hurried to a nearby bush after the incident and hid something.
Police found a plastic bag in the undergrowth containing drug-suspected plant debris and some white powder. The man from Debrecen was produced and a rapid drug test was applied to him, which showed a positive value. He must be held responsible for drug possession and driving while intoxicated.
