Next spring, the best will be able to compare their skills and knowledge in the national finals, wrote on the Facebook page of the Military Administration and Central Records Command of the Hungarian Defense Forces.
They wrote that this year, the Ministry of Defense announced the competition for the eighth time. The regional rounds were organized again this year by the Military Administration and Central Records Command of the Hungarian Armed Forces.
This year’s first county round was opened on September 14 in Zalaszabaron by Colonel-in-Chief Gábor Böröndi, Chief of the General Staff of the Honvéd. Since then, regional competitions have been held in all counties and in Budapest, with a record number of entries in several places: in many counties, the number of participating teams exceeded twenty. Most started in the county of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, where 28 teams took part in the competition organized in the Sóstó Museum Village, they wrote.
They added that in addition to the regularly participating schools, this year many new institutions started teams in the competition.
The MH Military Administration and Central Registration Command – which is the unit responsible for recruitment – was not only responsible for the organization of the competitions, their soldiers also informed the young people about the opportunities offered by the Hungarian Defense Forces, whether it be further education or service.
