KDI Property Kft., a member of the Waberer’s group, signed the contract on Friday.
The company would buy a 57,000 square meter construction site in the industrial zone of Debrecen. A logistics center of more than 20,000 square meters supporting the operation of the Contract Logistics Segment (RCL) will be built on the site. The conclusion of the final sales contract is subject to additional technical and financing conditions, reports Világgazdaság.
According to the available information, KDI Property Kft. will finance the purchase of the land and the construction of the warehouse with a loan, as well as with a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. With the current investment, the company will also be able to meet the logistics needs of the major automotive investments being built in the vicinity of Debrecen, as well as the related supplier companies, said Zsolt Barna, the president and CEO of Waberer’s.
