The film drama of Patricia Riggen with the title Under the same moon (La misma luna) is about a young Mexican boy who escapes from home to find his mother in the USA. After the boy’s grandmother dies, the little Carlitos decides to look after his far-away mother who must work abroad to financially help her family back home in Mexico.
The movie was made in 2007 and the main characters are formed by Adrian Alonso, Kate del Castillo and Eugenio Derbez.
