The Jewish Summer Festival started this afternoon in Budapest.
The opening ceremony was held in the Hungarian National Gallery, where an impressionist exhibition of the greatest artists, such as Monet, Gaugin, Szinyei Merse and Ripple-Rónai, were also opened.
György Szűcs, vice-president of the Hungarian National Gallery and Gusztáv Zoltai, president of the Federation of the Hungarian Jewish Communities gave speeches.
The Jewish Summer Festival lasts until 2 September.
