World Kidney Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of the kidney to the overall health and to reduce the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
This year, the focus is on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and aging. CKD can develop at any age but it becomes more common with increasing age.
The Debrecen Dialysis Centre on Bartók Béla Út holds an open day this afternoon from 1 pm to 3 pm.
