Rubik’s Cube celebrates the 40th anniversary

Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Ernő Rubik Hungarian sculptor, professor and inventor.

The cube was an instant success when it was first exported from Hungary in 1980; it became the world’s fastest-selling toy.

To celebrate the 3D combination puzzle’s 40th anniversary, the 69 year old Ernő Rubik organizes a special exhibition at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, US.
