Everest (2015) – directed by Baltasar Kormákur – is based on true events and was premiered at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.
The movie tells the story of the 1996 Mount Everest tragedy, when many experienced climbers died on their way back from the top.
Everest received generally positive reviews from critics.
