A special fresco display will be opened at MODEM on 21st January.MODEM Gallery announced a fresco competition last year and about 50 artworks were handed in coming from various regions of the country and even from abroad.
The jury – János Golda architect, Ábel Kónya art director of MODEM and József Szurcsik artist – have already selected 10 artworks they considered the best.
Designers from Chicago, Budapest, Záhony and Debrecen started to paint the frescos in the “white cube” spaces of the gallery on the 10th of January and they will finish their job on the 21st which is the day of the opening ceremony.

Venue: MODEM Gallery (1. Baltazár Dezső square)
Programme: Opening ceremony of a fresco display. Awards for the best designs will also be handed over to the artists.
The exhibition can be visited until the 19th of February.
