„Scented” Guided Tour of the Receptors Exhibition

Visitors can take part in a tour of the ground floor halls of MODEM guided by the two curators of the Receptors exhibition, Finland-based artist Hilda Kozári and Katalin T. Nagy. The art historian will talk about the exhibited pieces of the Antal–Lusztig Collection and the reasons why these specific works were chosen for the current selection.

Meanwhile, artist Hilda Kozári will talk about her life in Finland, her art and her works showcased at the exhibition. Kozári will also initiate participants into the witchcraft of scents, and since Christmas is approaching, we will also smell the scents of the gifts of the three Magi: gold, myrrh and incense. The special guest of the guided tour is Finnish director and media artist Maarit Suomi-Väänänen, who will tell us about the making of her film about the national pie of Finland, the pirog.

A Selection of Movies by Maarit Suomi-Väänänen 

The absurd, funny and curiously beatuiful films of Maarit Suomi-Väänänen have been screened in more than 40 countries, and have won awards at various festivals. This time, Debrecen audiences will be able to enjoy the adventures of a personified log and a small, snow-covered car in the North.
