Hungarian Movie at the 68th International Berlinale Film Festival

New movie of Hungarian film director Árpád Bogdán has been invited to be one of the movies of Panorama Special Selection at the 68th International Berlinale Film Festival in February, 2018.The movie – entitled Genezis (2017) – depicts the story of a young Gypsy boy who loses his family in a brutal attack. The young boy meets a lawyer who is defending one of the racist attackers who killed the boy’s family, and this encounter changes both the lawyer’s and the boy’s life…

Genezis is the second feature film of the director Árpád Bogdán, and the movie has been selected as one of the films of Panorama Special Selection at the 68th International Berlinale Film Festival. The festival will take place in Berlin, Germany in February, 2018.

The movie was made in a coproduction of Mirage Film and Focusfox, it was supported by Filmalap and its producers were Andrea Taschler and Gábor Ferenczy.

The movie will be premiered in Hungary on the 12th of April.
