American Singer Meat Loaf Dies at 74

Grammy-winning singer Meat Loaf died in America at the age of 74.

 

He died among his loved ones, he had a wife and two daughters with him, but the cause of his death was not reported, deadline.com wrote.


Meat Loaf was born in 1947 in Dallas as Marvin Lee Aday. He did not have a happy childhood due to his father’s alcoholism, he spent a lot of time with his grandparents. He began his musical career in Los Angeles, when he had formed the band Meat Loaf Soul.

Released in 1977, the album Bat Out of Hell made a big impact in the United States, selling 14 million copies and was among the top 35 records.


Also known as an actor, Meat Loaf has starred in more than fifty films, played Eddie on The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and also starred in the Warriors Club.
