The New Millennium International Chamber Music Festival, to be held for the fourth time from August 25 to 30 in Budapest, will feature premieres and international collaborations in a series of programmes curated by violinist Miranda Liu and the V4 String Quartet which comprises musicians from Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.
The quartet will make its debut at the House of Music Hungary, presenting new works written for the ensemble, the organisers said in a statement on Sunday. Other concerts will be held at the Old Music Academy on Vörösmarty Street in Budapest and at the Festetics Palace. The festival programme is available at nmicmf.com.
