Hungarian Past in Transylvanian Public Spaces – An Exhibition of Árpád Deák’s Works Opens in Debrecen

Árpád Deák, a sculptor from Oradea, created sculptures of about twenty Hungarian historical and cultural figures, which have been erected in public spaces of Transylvanian settlements. Among his works are the Holnaposok (The Tomorrow People) in Oradea, the equestrian statue of Saint Ladislaus, and the Dancing Hussars statue group in Nagyvárad.

The artist’s works were presented by Vilmos Meleg, an actor from Oradea, in an exhibition consisting of art photographs and models.
