Elementary and secondary schools have been renovated recently using hundreds of millions HuF.
Debrecen spent about more than 190 million HuF from its municipal resources on 44 elementary and secondary schools during the summer holiday.
There were two big other investments regarding energetic improvement in the city: renovation of Ady Endre Secondary School cost about 164 million HuF. The project was supported by 136 million HuF from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and a number of EU-member states.
Hatvani István Elementary School has also been renovated using 225 million HuF (a sum of 137 million was given by EU-member states).
