From 2018 new motorways are going to connect the two countries; Hungary and Romania – says Péter Szíjjártó.Péter Szíjjártó (Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and Petru Sorin Buse (Romanian Minister of Transport) had a meeting in August 2016 about connecting the two countries with new motorways in the future. In 2018 M4 and A3 motorways will be connected making transport much easier between the two countries.
According to the contract, Hungary is going to build the border crossings.
