On Tuesday (29th of May), the Swedish company, Ericsson inaugurated its new headquarters in Budapest.The new building was inaugurated by Ericsson’S chairman-CEO, Borje Ekholm and Viktor Orbán, the Hungarian prime minister.
The Swedish company also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics about extending their collaboration aimed at long-term close cooperation in education, research and innovation.
Ericsson has already had a site in Hungary on the banks of the Danube with about 1,700 employees working there.
