Output of Hungary’s construction sector climbed 17.8% year on year in September, unadjusted data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show.
Output of the buildings segment was up 18.7%, lifted by construction of residential, cultural and industrial buildings, KSH said. Civil engineering output rose by 17.2%, helped by road and railway developments.
In a month-on-month comparison, construction output rose by 5.2%, adjusted for seasonal and workday effects.
For the period January-September, output was up 28.0% year on year.
