Hungary posted a trade surplus of 896 million euros in October, up 516 million in the same month a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.
Exports fell by an annual 1.5% to 10.027 billion euros, while imports dropped by 6.8% to 9.131 billion. Trade with other European Union member states accounted for 77% of exports and 71% of imports.
