Danube Asphalt can build roads, water pipes and canals worth HUF 8.6 billion during works related to the North-West Economic Zone of Debrecen. The BMW plant in Debrecen is being built in this area, and the related investments will be won by entrepreneurs belonging to Viktor Orbán’s narrowest surroundings, such as István Garancsi and Lőrinc Mészáros.
The Hungarian government is supporting BMW with HUF 12.3 billion for building its factory in Debrecen, the local government has taken out a loan of HUF 44 billion for this, and the government approved HUF 135 billion for these developments at the end of 2018.
