Hungary’s export growth slowed further in August, giving Hungary a trade deficit of 751 million euros, a second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Tuesday shows.
Exports rose by an annual 4.2% to 8.3 billion euros. The pace of growth was halved from July. Imports climbed 18.7% to 9.1 billion euros. Exports were stunted by shutdowns in the automotive industry due to supply chain interruptions.
