Hungarian industrial output in November grew by an annual 2.6%, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.
Adjusted for the number of working days, output increased by 2.1%. Month on month, output rose by 2.9%, based on seasonally and working day-adjusted data. Output of automotive manufacturing, the biggest segment of Hungary’s industrial sector, fell by 15.1%, declining at a slower pace than in the previous three months, according to the detailed reading of the data. Output of the computer, electronics and optical equipment segment eased by 2.1%, while that of food, drinks and tobacco grew by 17.4%.
